eConfirm is pleased to announce the successful onboarding of Bank Muamalat Malaysia Berhad to the platform. As of 2 September 2024, Bank Muamalat is ready to accept electronic bank confirmation requests.
In line with this development, manual bank confirmation requests submitted to Bank Muamalat branches will no longer be accepted for processing, effective from the date of this notice, i.e., 2 September 2024.
Through participation in eConfirm, auditors are required to submit only one request letter for multiple facilities maintained across various Bank Muamalat branches nationwide. Kindly note that multiple requests for different facilities across different branches should not be submitted through eConfirm. Additionally, for confirmations covering multiple financial year-ends, only one request letter is necessary, as the platform will automatically generate the appropriate number of requests based on the selected financial year-ends.
